I was working at a cafeteria style restaurant that served people lunch in a hospital. Pam, from my old job, Lido cafe, was my boss. I was so used to being relaxed at work with my boss now that it came as a shock when Pam was in charge again and I kept getting in trouble every time I turned around but I had Manny, my old co-worker, to help me keep my sanity like at Lido. When my shift was over, I said goodbye to Manny and made my way to Ted and Robin's apartment (from How I met your Mother). We were friends and I was going over to spend the evening with them and Marshall, Lily and Barney.
When I got there, Robin said that we were going out for dinner. As we were walking around, a bus passed by us with the Lonely Island in it singing a song about Andy Samberg's ass...for some odd reason, I was more starstruck by them then the cast of How I met your Mother.
After dinner, I told Robin that I had to go home. She was sad and tried to get me to come back to the apartment with them. I said I would think about it. I was at least going to walk them to the apartment. On the way, we bumped into Scarlett who told me I should go along with everyone because Lily had invited her and she was staying for a while. I said I would stay for a bit and her and Robin walked up ahead, leaving me behind because I was walking too slow.
When I walked into the apartment, I saw Boomer Phillips and one other guy from Video on Trial. I tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Are you Boomer Phillips?" He said, yes and then asked if he could get a picture of me. I said yes and he told me to put on this pair of sunglasses that had these pink plastic penises on the side. I did and he took the picture. He told me to keep the sunglasses. Confused but happy that I had a chat with Boomer, who I kind of have a crush on because he's funny and cute in that quirky way, I took the elevator up to the apartment.
It was smaller and more crowded with crap than on the show and Lily said that apartment was just for the show - like they did on the Hills. We all hung out for a while and I told them about Boomer. Lily said she didn't like him because he was too sick minded for her. After about an hour, I told everyone I was going home and Lily stopped me saying she had a stocking for me and she wanted me to open it.
She plopped it down on the couch and Robin got upset because Lily had filled her stocking with stuff for me.
"Robin, it's not like she's taking the stocking home. I just didn't have one for her. Sharing is caring." How kindergarten teacher of her. lol.
Just as I went to open my stocking, Cole's screaming woke me up.
